A Scripture Prayer for Our Loved Ones
When my kids were young, I felt like a parrot repeating: “God bless my kids and keep them safe.” That changed when I learned to use Scripture for my prayers.

Work and worry blind us to the miracles around us. We rush through our days silencing the tasks calling for our attention, and we miss the delights before us.
We grieve our loss but we celebrate her gain. And we see light at the end of the tunnel of sorrow knowing we’ll someday celebrate a great, grand reunion.
This season of isolating ourselves in our homes needn’t be seen through a negative lens. Rather, let’s ask God to reveal Himself to us in new ways.
Holidays draw families together. But sometimes spending time together is stressful. Rather than worry, worship God for His faithfulness, wisdom, and love.
My family means more to me than anything this world offers. But what bearing does our relationship with Christ have on our kids?
God accomplishes His purposes despite our dysfunctional shortcomings. If He used only perfect people, He’d be outta luck.
