Intentionally serving others is not always convenient, but when we do as Jesus says simply because we love Him, He will reward us.
I’m really enjoying this practice. It’s opening my eyes to see how truly blessed I am, and it’s helping me walk in obedience to God’s command.
Disclosing our struggles to a trusted godly friend can help ease the burden we carry. Knowing we’re not alone brings the encouragement needed to persevere.
It was Monday, and I was knee-high in packing boxes when I heard the knock on our door. It was our Sunday school teacher with roasted chicken and rubber gloves.
It’s easy to judge. But maybe we need to ask Jesus to help us see people through His eyes and to extend grace and mercy as He does.
Understanding these motivational gifts–their weaknesses and their strengths alike–helps us better understand our spouse, our kids, and our coworkers.
