I hold messy reality in one hand: Uvalde, Ukraine, inflation, family and ministry concerns. I hold God’s spectacular promises in the other.
God’s unshakeable Truth helps calm fear. God is up to something far bigger than I can imagine; I will trust and not be afraid because He is with me.
Our thoughts can hinder our potential, our health, and our relationships, but it needn’t be that way. We can enjoy freedom characterized by life and peace.
Truth be told, the fear of financial insecurity impacts far more people than pastors and missionaries. That’s why I’m sharing this article in my blog today.
Even though I wrote a book about moving beyond fear, I still struggle with it occasionally. Thankfully, it doesn’t consume or paralyze me anymore.
I routinely meet women who express fear for their family’s well-being. I’ve been there, done that. And I continue to face it even though my kids are now adults.
I cling to the truth that no matter what happens to me, I’m a victor because God is the king of my life. No harm touches me unless He allows it.
How much does God love us? We can’t even begin to count the ways! His devotion to us supersedes anything our minds can comprehend.
