Knowing to Whom we belong and understanding His purpose for us frees us from insecurity and pride. We feel no need to portray an image meant to impress.
Obeying the Lord might feel really difficult at times, but He deserves our reverent, immediate, and wholehearted yes because of who He is.
If anyone has reason to grumble and complain, God does, especially when He looks upon mankind and the manner in which we treat Him. And yet He refrains.
This Egyptian woman took pride in her work and pleasure in serving me. Her actions humbled me and immediately brought Philippians 2 to mind.

Yes and I was really tired and didn’t feel like adjusting my attitude. Thankfully the Holy Spirit caught my attention and wouldn’t let go until I’d responded.
Are we willing to give up our personal rights for the sake of others? Are we willing to give up our dreams or aspirations to enable someone else to succeed?
