This is the last weekend before Christmas. Perhaps you still have last-minute gift shopping to do. Maybe you’ll go grocery shopping, or bake something special. Perhaps you’ll be on the road or in the air, traveling to a loved one’s home. Or maybe you’re not well, and you’ll be at home wishing you could do any of the above.
No matter what your situation is, I encourage you to take a few moments to consider the magnificence of Christmas. It’s easy to lose sight of this amidst the season’s busyness and stress on commercialism. It’s also easy to forget amidst all the stories of Jesus’ humble birth in a cave.
But this weekend, think about the angels who left heaven’s glory to proclaim Christ’s birth! Imagine the importance of a message that put them on this special assignment! Here’s an article I wrote to celebrate the magnificence of this season. Enjoy!
