Welcome! I’m Grace Fox

I’m so glad you’re here.

Hosting come-and-go coffee times with friends aboard my sailboat-home is one of my favorite things to do. I want my home to be a place where the weary-hearted find hope.

That’s what we all crave, right? A fresh dose of hope in this wacky world.

So, please, join me in my sailboat salon for a few minutes. Sit down and put your feet up. Exhale. Explore the resources offered here.

If you’ve come weary, may this space be a place where you find hope renewed and courage restored.

Know you are loved,

Grace

More about me and my life

If you were to stop by my boat-home unexpectedly, you’d probably find me in my happy writing space wearing yoga pants and my favorite sweatshirt, sipping coffee or Coke Zero. I found my sweatshirt at a thrift store—that’s where I find most of my clothes. I love a bargain!

I usually begin my morning early with the perfect combo—my Bible and journal, and coffee in a Polish mug. Quiet time followed by a gym workout readies both body and soul for the day.

I’m wife to Gene aka “Sailor-Man,” mother of three married kids, grandma to thirteen of the planet’s cutest little people, and co-director of a missionary sending agency called International Messengers Canada.

Most importantly, I’m a Jesus follower. This relationship determines my identity and influences the way I do life. It steers me back on track when I head the wrong direction, and it helps me persevere when the battle feels long and hard. It gives me purpose and ignites passion for God’s Word.

That passion for Scripture is why I do what I do—write a weekly devotional blog, write devotional books and Bible studies, teach God’s Word at online and in-person events, volunteer as a member of P31’s First 5 Bible study writing team, and co-host the “Your Daily Bible Verse” podcast.

I believe God’s Word addresses every problem you and I face be it fear in these uncertain days or insecurity about our unique design. It sheds wisdom for dealing with difficult relationships and helps us navigate the storms of life….and I’ve had a few.

I don’t pretend to know all the answers, but I do know that we need each other as we learn and grow. We need someone with whom we can share our challenges, joys, and disappointments.

I hope you’ll count me as a trusted friend. Utilize my resources to find encouragements for your faith journey, okay? Listen to media interviews I’ve done. Consider inviting me to join you as a speaker for your next event.

Know you are loved, my friend. I look forward to getting to know you.
