Even when emotions tell us that He is far away, the truth remains–He is with us. May this truth encourage you today, my friend.
I grew up praying specifically so I could see God answer in specific ways. But perhaps my so-called specific prayers are my way of telling God what to do.
As long as we’re warm and breathing, we face challenges of every sort. If we focus on them, we soon convince ourselves that they’re too big for us to handle.
That desire will come true as I spend private time in His presence every day, and as I practice His presence throughout each day.
God pursues us because He wants relationship with us. He woos us through His written words. He blesses us through the kindness of a friend or stranger.
Faith stories make a difference. Let’s take advantage of their influence. Let’s stoke the fire of the next generation’s faith by recalling God’s goodness to us.
Joy isn’t something we can work up. Nor is it found in rosy circumstances. It comes from within, the natural overflow of an ever-growing friendship with Jesus.
Jesus used questions often, and He used them well. Take this powerful question, for instance: “Why do you have so little faith?”
I want this project to encourage women worldwide to discover their giftedness and develop their God-given potential so they can impact the generations to come.
