Today’s the Day! Celebrating the New Brand and Website - Grace Fox

Thanks for sharing my excitement in launching my new brand, “Inspiring hope, courage, and transformation through God’s Word–with a dash of adventure.”

Here it is…the big reveal! Thanks for sharing my excitement in launching my new brand, “Inspiring hope, courage, and transformation through God’s Word…with a dash of adventure.”

The background

This project began in fall 2022 when I off-handedly mentioned my need for a new website to a neighbor, Sandra Patterson Lewis. She looked at me and said, “That’s what I do. I design websites.” And she did.

I appreciate Sandra’s creativity, enthusiasm, dogged attention to detail, and brilliance at solving technological glitches. I’m also grateful for her support as I did my part while navigating a steep learning curve.

Our desire was to provide a welcoming hub with resources that inspire hope, courage, and transformation through God’s Word, and I believe we met that goal.

So pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea and spend a few minutes exploring gracefox.com. Find encouragement in the many inspirational articles, devotional blogs, and “Your Daily Bible Verse” podcast episodes. Read about my mission trip adventures. And while you’re here, you can take a tour of my sailboat home. But first, let me explain my logo’s imagery.

The logo

In case you didn’t already know, my husband and I moved onto a sailboat fulltime in 2018. The anchor represents our faith-stretching, life-altering transition made with many prayers and evidences of God’s leading. You can read the story here

Besides that, the anchor theme is based on Hebrews 6:19:

“This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.”

We all experience the storms of life sooner or later, but we remain steadfast in hope when our faith is anchored in God’s promises.

The anchor itself bears several significant features:

  • A cross represents the cross upon which Jesus Christ died to give us life. It’s God’s declaration of His immeasurable love for mankind and central to my message. (1 Peter 2:24)
  • A sword represents the living Word of God. It’s a vital part of our spiritual armor. Understanding and applying it to our life is our best defense in our battle against spiritual forces. (Ephesians 6:17)
  • Two flukes point heavenward, representing our need to keep our focus on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)

The path forward

Now that the transition from old to new is complete, I’ll return to a regular blogging schedule. In the past, I’ve typically sent weekly devotion blogs. I’m changing that to every other week to avoid overloading your inbox and to allow more time to focus on my upcoming release (Names of God: Living Unafraid) and writing its two sequels.

Question? Feedback?

I’d be happy to hear your thoughts on the new design.

Rest assured, the look is new, but the message remains the same.

Know you are loved,

Grace

    1. Hi Mary! Thanks for stopping by my new website. You’re right–prices have gone up on everything, it seems, and the same is true for books. Paper, ink, the cardboard in which books are shipped from the warehouse to stores, the cost of transporting the books–all of these things and more impact the price. It’s difficult. I understand. Perhaps you could put it on your Christmas wish list?
