How You View Yourself Matters
Have you heard people describe themselves apologetically? Why? Because we listen to negative voices rather than believing the truth about who we are in Jesus.

If I’ve invited Him to be the Lord over every part of me, He has the right to steer me in the direction He wants to accomplish His purposes in and through me.
As we tune our ear to hear His voice of truth, we’ll grow more adept at recognizing the lies and tuning out the naysayer.
I’ll always remember the voice on the phone that day: “Why do you bother doing what you do?” Thankfully God used that incident as a pivot-point for me.
I will choose instead to praise God with my whole heart. I will focus my eyes not on my circumstances but on His strength, and I will walk out the Truth
“I’m just a…” or “I’m only a…” How many times have I heard people describe themselves in apologetic terms? Too many! Sadly, I’ve done the same thing.
Do we struggle with the same issues and wonder why we never gain victory over them? Perhaps we’re not doing something we ought.
Negative voices can intimidate us, make us feel there’s something wrong with us, or steal our joy for what we believe God has called us to do – if we let them.
Voices that murmur doubts and cause you to query God’s character: “A good God would never allow such painful circumstances. Why devote yourself to Him?
