How to Respond Well When Plans Change
We all have stories about when plans change due to circumstances beyond our control. Everyone responds differently. We can either resist or we can rest.

Jesus is the Vine and the branches are those who believe in Him for salvation. The stronger and healthier the connection, the more spiritual fruit.
We are finite beings so we often view our circumstances on a finite timeline. The clock ticks, and we grow anxious. We begin to doubt whether God hears us.
Give the Lord your five small barley loaves and two small fish. There’s no telling what He might do with them, for little is much in God’s hands.
We can’t begin to understand His purposes for our pain, but we can rest assured that He is doing something good in His eternal plan.
Our job is to follow where He leads, listen to His voice, and trust Him. We’re also to practice praise even though we might not understand what He’s up to.
Joy is ours even when life stinks. Let’s make joy our life and whet the appetite of a watching world to know the Source of true joy.
Sometimes we run ahead of God’s timing, or try to manipulate our circumstances. Why? Because we doubt God’s ability to fulfill His purposes for us.
The more I read about joy, the more I’m convinced that God’s kids, more than anyone else on earth, ought to be living demonstrations of this characteristic.
Life sometimes hands us experiences that make us feel feeble. The muck of discouragement sucks our feet down, and it’s difficult to stand.
