In this crazy busy season, we sing about silent nights and calm. The irony is that we feel anything but calm and finding silence is nearly impossible.
Happiness is found when we do life God’s way. It gives us the strength to forgive, and to face our fears. It gives us peace in the midst of storms.
I routinely meet women who express fear for their family’s well-being. I’ve been there, done that. And I continue to face it even though my kids are now adults.
My behaving like a mother hen won’t ensure my loved ones’ happiness and safety. There comes a time when I must step aside and trust God with their lives.
God is more than able to orchestrate the details of our lives. Do we trust Him?
God doesn’t take a nap and then wake up to discover that–oh my goodness–something went terribly wrong on the earth while He rested His eyelids.
