We need to be intentional and likely make some changes if we want to someday hear God’s “Well done, good and faithful servant.” What can we do to finish well?
As we tune our ear to hear His voice of truth, we’ll grow more adept at recognizing the lies and tuning out the naysayer.
I’ll always remember the voice on the phone that day: “Why do you bother doing what you do?” Thankfully God used that incident as a pivot-point for me.
These verses remind us that God is our refuge and our hope. Let us rely on His strength and not on our own. Let us seek His will and not our own.
Jesus knows the answer to every question with which we wrestle. Let’s seek Him first before making a regrettable blunder.
He satisfies my hunger and quenches my thirst. Every day, day after day after day…the supply of divine delicacies never ends.
God found me hidden in a Himalayan hut – and assured me that He saw me there. The knowledge that I was in His sights gave me the strength needed to persevere.

I trust with ALL my heart, not just the part that I am comfortable giving Him. Acknowledging He is God replaces fear with courage and fills me with joy.
We moved into a teeny tiny house when I was in fourth grade. The only place for the bird cage was atop the fridge. We mistakenly believed it was safe there.
When the unexpected comes – and it will -remember that God knew every detail about it before you were even born. It was no surprise to Him.

Keep your eyes and ears wide open. Keep your heart open, too, so you can learn everything He wants you to learn during this time.
How I’d love to grow old maintaining his attitude about gratitude. And I can. By remembering his words: “You know–thankfulness is really a choice, isn’t it?
God is the source of my strength. He made that very clear three years ago when I lost my mobility for several months. That’s when He directed me to Psalm 18.
When we’re walking in consistent fellowship with Him, then we’ll be better prepared to meet those challenges head-on with the grace and wisdom
For what do you need the Lord’s help? May I encourage you today with God’s truth? Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.

We don’t like to think about our faith journey requiring sacrifice. We’d rather think about how it benefits us: forgiveness, answers to prayer, eternal life.
I enter 2016 with expectancy. How might God choose to use me in new ways? And how might He interrupt my safe and comfortable routine to accomplish His purposes?
