God Wants to Show His Power Through Us
Our challenges are opportunities for God to demonstrate His power through us. He wants to show His power through me and you.
We all need hope. May these posts inspire hope in your life.
Our challenges are opportunities for God to demonstrate His power through us. He wants to show His power through me and you.
My family means more to me than anything this world offers. But what bearing does our relationship with Christ have on our kids?
We yearn for peace, especially when evil happens as it did this week in Boston. Is peace possible? Yes. By admitting that we need God’s help.
Facing discouragement? Facing desperate circumstances? Be encouraged today. God knows the path through the deep waters. Trust Him.
We’ve all experienced hurt from broken promises. But know this–God’s promises will never fail.
Jesus is real. He’s not a fairy tale, nor a figment of someone’s imagination. He’s the risen Son of God—alive and well and deserving our love and obedience.
I marvel at how God blessed the obedience of this woman who said yes to God’s call on her life despite it being far beyond her comfort zone.
Sometimes God’s purposes overrule our plans. That happened to me this weekend in a most unexpected way.
“I listen carefully to what God the LORD is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people” (Psalm 85:8). What is the Lord saying to you?
Giving thanks is the sure-fire fix for the blahs. There’s no way the blahs can hang around when I choose to express gratitude.
You work. You wait. You pray. Meanwhile, God is working behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail to bring His purposes into being
No matter what our life experience with earthly fathers, it’s vital that we focus on the truth about God’s character. What is that?
God knows what’s behind that closed door and whether or not it would do me more harm than good. There’s a reason it’s closed.
God rides across the heavens to help us. He rushes across the skies in majestic splendor to rescue us. He sees us from afar, and He rides the wind to save us.
The more I read about joy, the more I’m convinced that God’s kids, more than anyone else on earth, ought to be living demonstrations of this characteristic.
Imagine Him smiling on us, taking pleasure in us, expressing delight in us as He expressed delight in His Son, Jesus. The thought warms my heart.
Life offers oodles of small pleasures, but nothing brings joy like experiencing God’s presence moment by moment. So, I enter 2012 with a sense of anticipation
Daniel asked a question to gain a better understanding of the situation and then took deliberate action to save many lives.
Do you believe in angels? I do. Too bad we don’t have goggles that allow us to see these spiritual beings. I have a hunch the view would astound us.
We’re living in uncertain times. And as I watch my grandchildren grow up and wonder what the world will look like when they’re my age…if it lasts that long.
