The Greatest Gift Exchange of All Time
We give Jesus our load of concerns, and He gives us a gift more precious than gold–that’s how Jesus wants to work this gift exchange.

If you’re finding it hard to be happy at Christmas, know you’re not alone. Also know that your Everlasting Father invites you to nestle close to His heart.
That’s our Jesus! He’s our out-of-the-ordinary, beyond human explanation king who counsels us and leads us because He truly cares about us.
Disappointment. Anger. Hurt. Envy. Fear. Doubt. Loneliness. Unforgiveness. They’re all capable of turning out the lights, metaphorically speaking.
God is with you, my friend. His presence will never leave your side. You don’t face your challenges alone, nor do you face them in your own strength.
When Jonah spilled his frustration, God asked him a pointed question: “Is it right for you to be angry about this?” It’s important we ask the same question.
Only God knows what the new year holds. For us, it’s a huge uncertainty. But one thing we know for sure, we can experience peace because Jesus said so.
If you’re finding this season difficult, know that you’re not alone. Also know that Jesus opens His arms wide and invites you to nestle close to His heart.
We, too, can worship the Beloved with a kiss, figuratively speaking. We can breathe words of prayer to thank Him for keeping His promises.
At Christmas, we celebrate Jesus as the Savior who came as a helpless baby. But let’s also celebrate Him as the One who gives us rest when we’re tired.
“God is with us.” What an amazing declaration! These four words have the power to change everything for us when we live from their truth.
As we consider our shopping lists and the great sales that come after Christmas, let’s ask God to help us keep His perspective.
Holidays draw families together. But sometimes spending time together is stressful. Rather than worry, worship God for His faithfulness, wisdom, and love.
In the midst of the hustle and bustle that accompanies this season, let’s remember what Christmas celebrates: Emmanuel – God with us.
Hope, peace, joy and love aptly describe what Christmas is meant to celebrate, and all because God chose to become man and dwell among us.
I’ve thought about what I can give to Jesus. The answer, I believe, is a joyfully obedient heart. – not just for Christmas but for 365 days each year.
Would you join me in praying for people whose Christmas is anything but joyful? A prayer to know Jesus, the Prince of Peace, and find comfort in His presence.
Jesus, Prince of Peace, came into our world so He could live in us. His power at work within us ought to help us worship, rather than worry.
We HOld to HOpe in the HOlidays because Jesus – the One whose brilliant splendor fills the heavens, the One filled with awesome power—holds us.
When things don’t go as we plan, we can either let those unfulfilled expectations ruin the season, or we can view them as an opportunity to trust Him.
In this crazy busy season, we sing about silent nights and calm. The irony is that we feel anything but calm and finding silence is nearly impossible.
And then He speaks words that infuse hope: “This is a painful process, but I am at work. Trust Me. Plant the seed, and a joyful harvest will come.”
As we think about giving this season, let’s remember that we don’t have to spend a small fortune on presents. Some of the best gifts are free.
As we celebrate, remember it’s about more than toys and tinsel. These are good, but Christmas is truly about Jesus Christ, King of kings and Lord of lords.
Peace in the face of uncertainty is indeed a gift. Given to us by the Prince of Peace, it’s available to us not only during the Christmas season but year-round.
Opportunities to show compassion are endless. What will you do to show God’s love in a tangible way to someone this Christmas?
Merry Christmas! This song by Phil Wickham makes me want to dance! I hope you enjoy it as much I do.
It’s so true–a baby changes everything. You don’t have to be a mother to experience this for yourself, especially when that baby is Jesus.
The baby Jesus was mankind’s introduction to God in flesh. But the image of the sleeping infant is a far cry from the Jesus revealed in Revelation 1:13-18.
